Each and every one of us are born to help, each and every one of us.

It is because each and every one of us IS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US.

Every person you know, every person you have ever met, every person you have ever seen, heard about, read about, every one of them…

…you are related to.

Yep.

Me and you are related.

The Human Genome research has proven that each one of us is related to every other human being who has ever walked on this planet.

Every person you love, every person you hate, every person you don’t care much about or have never even heard of…is a relative.

Bills fans you are related to the Patriot fans.  Alabama and Auburn fans, yep, you too.

Every human has 3 BILLION genome pairs that make us…us.  Of those 3 BILLION pairs you and the guy or woman next to you share 99.9% of the same genome pairs.

Under our skin we are the same as “humanely possible.”

“Not for ourselves are we born.”

We are born for all of us.

We are born to care for and help one another.

We are born, for each other.

Not for ourselves are we born

Imagine…

…THIS!

Imagine this is your house, one minute it is HOME, the next minute its “uninhabitable.” I was there soon after the tornado ripped through Cullman, Alabama, was taken around and shown the damage, being a basically NorthEast guy I wasn’t prepared for what I saw, I’ve never been around the aftermath of a tornado…

…and the destruction in the path of the tornado shocked me, but it was one piece of the debris, one tiny piece that honestly broke my heart. It was laying in a field, a tree branch through it, half of it broken and gone. A treasure taken by a storm indifferant to what it destroys, what it leaves behind which more often than not are…

…memories lost.

A child’s fishing rod and reel. I knew the moment I saw it that, sure I can’t rebuild the homes lost but I damn well knew that I could replace that child’s fishing combo, and maybe…MAYBE help save the memories attached to it and fishing.

It is this exact rod and reel combo that launched Tackle The Storm Foundation in 2011.

As a child did you ever swing a baseball bat and pretend you hit the game winning home run, catch a football and make the winning touchdown, bounce a basketball and dreaming of making the THREE at the buzzer.

It is the stuff of childhood, dreams and adventures.  In a child’s hand a fishing rod and reel combines both adventure…and dreams.

On every cast float dreams, every catch comes with adventure.

When a tornado rips a house apart obviously there is a massive amount of work to do both in rebuilding and restocking all that was once there:  Furniture, Appliances, Clothing…

…not much thought given to a rod and reel.

Unless of course you are a child and it’s your rod and reel, but how do you ask for that when all else is gone.

Tackle The Storm Foundation understands all the work that needs to be done after a tornado, we also understand Magic Wands.

That’s what we do.

We will not get in the way as you put your life back together, but if your child, girl or boy, age doesn’t matter, has lost his ability to fish, has lost that Magic Wand of childhood WE WILL REPLACE IT FOR YOU…free.

Period.

One dream at a time.

One adventure at a time.

We will put your child back on the water.

No matter where, no matter when.

I promise you.

Storms

No photos here in this section.

This is private.

It doesn’t have to rain to have a storm in your life.

It doesn’t have to snow to have a storm in your life.

Your house doesn’t have to be blown down to have a storm in your life.

Storms, to me, come in all shapes and sizes, none of which has to do with weather.

Divorce.

Job Loss.

Sickness.

Death.

Money Issues

All storms in my book.

If you are affected by any of the above, or any other kind of storm in your life that affects your child’s ability to be able to have a rod and a reel to fish with reach out to us and we’ll help you get your child back on the water.

Childhood dreams and adventures need not be lost.
